Ken Garrard, CEO and President

Ken Garrard, CEO and President, has over 29 years of experience with corporate and start-up technology companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Auburn University. Mr. Garrard gained early corporate experience while working for General Signal, Schlumberger and Cellnet, dealing primarily  with various management information system offerings. Since 1992, he has been an inventor, investor, four-time serial entrepreneur, and consultant in several areas of disruptive and cutting-edge technologies. His first company, Visionspan, designed, built and marketed MMDS/ITFS systems and was ultimately purchased by Bellsouth in 1998. Mr. Garrard’s next venture, Telemetry Technologies Inc., which designed, manufactured and marketed wireless telemetry products, incorporated in 1999. TTI was later sold to Metrix Communications in 2002.  That same year, he founded BlueSpan Communications Corp., which designed, built and marketed AMR systems to electric utilities. Mr. Garrard’s multidiscipline expertise in management, business development, telecommunications, and engineering provides Aunigma’s core leadership.

Karl Elliot, Chief Technology Officer

Karl Elliott, Chief Technology Officer, is a 35-year seasoned businessman and inventor with numerous technology developments to his credit in the IT and process controls arena. His career history includes serving as an executive technology consultant to several international Fortune 500 companies, such as Crane Corp and Exxon. He is also a Founder, Co-founder and CTO to several successful high tech start-ups and is a co-inventor of technology covered by several of Aunigma’s patents. Mr. Elliott’s vast experience in information technology, management and consulting anchors Aunigma’s technology initiatives.

Peter Gratzer, VP of Technology

Peter Gratzer, Vice President of Technology, has been involved with information technology and computer engineering for over 30 years. As a consultant, he has worked with projects in multiple industries, often serving as technical lead of the project team. Among the companies that have relied on his expertise are Staples, DHL/Deutsche Post and Syntegrity Networks. Mr. Gratzer also held senior technical positions on the staffs of Sun Microsystems and Encore Computer. Earlier in his career he gained engineering experience with DOSIS GmbH, a software firm located in Dortmund, Germany. Mr. Gratzer holds a degree in Computer Science from University of Dortmund.

Andy Huang, Consulting VP of Research and Development

Andy Huang, Consulting Vice President of Research and Development, holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia and received a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Auburn University.  Mr. Huang is one of the inventors of Aunigma’s core technology and the main code developer. He is also a co-inventor of technology protected by several of Aunigma’s patents.

Dan Wilder, VP of Corporate Development

Dan Wilder, Vice President of Corporate Development, brings our team over 25 years of business technology management, information systems integration and global cyber security leadership.   During his career he has attained extensive experience in cyber security, with expertise in; IT infrastructure architecture design and operation, threat/vulnerability risk analysis, enterprise governance/compliance design and performance management, risk cost analysis and operational optimization, strategic planning and multi-level project management. Mr. Wilder previously served as Global Enterprise Security Roadmap Practice Lead and Principal Cybersecurity Systems Architect at Computer Sciences Corporation. In prior positions he was Vice President GRC and BCM Practice for VerSprite, DHL Global Mail’s Director Quality, Infrastructure and BCM for the Americas region, and Assistant Vice President Consumer Real Estate Technology at Bank of America. He held similar positions with Predictive Systems, USWeb/CKS and AllTel Information Systems. His early engineering experience was acquired through advancing technology at Georgia-Pacific and Lotus Development Corp. In addition to his industry experience, Mr. Wilder holds certification as a Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Business Resiliency Auditor, and Six Sigma Greenbelt. Memberships and affiliations include American Society of Information Security, Information Systems Audit and Control Association, Open Compliance Ethics Group, and America National Standards Institute.

Bill Kirby, VP of Marketing Communications

Bill Kirby, Vice President of Corporate Development, has over 40 years’ experience in telecommunications, electric utilities and consulting, with a focus on emerging and wireless technologies. His major competencies are in corporate development and starting new technology-based businesses. Besides several internal start-ups for BellSouth and Southern Company, Aunigma is the third private start-up in which he has played a major role. Mr. Kirby holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clemson University and the University of South Carolina.
